How to Reset TP‑Link AC750 Range Extender

After changing your Wi‑Fi router, your TP‑Link AC750 Range Extender may stop working even you use the same network name and password. In this video, I’ll show you how to quickly reset the extender and reconnect it to your new router.

If the extender’s Wi‑Fi is active and you connect your device directly to the extender’s Wi‑Fi network, then open a browser and go to: http://tplinkrepeater.net or the extender’s default IP address: 192.168.0.254

If you can’t access http://tplinkrepeater.net or the extender’s default IP address has changed, reset the TP‑Link AC750 Extender:

1. Plug in the extender 2. Wait for the LEDs to stabilize 3. hold the RESET button for 10 seconds (until the LEDs blink)

After the reset:

4. Connect your phone or laptop to the extender’s default Wi‑Fi: TP-LINK_Extender_XXXX

5. Open a browser and go to: http://tplinkrepeater.net or http://192.168.0.254 (default IP in factory reset mode)

6. Create a new admin password

7. Select your new Wi‑Fi network

8. Enter your new Wi‑Fi password

9. IMPORTANT: Change the extended SSID to match your router exactly

10. Same name

11. Same capitalization

12. Same password

13. Save and reboot
