Enable Bluetooth & Wi‑Fi on the A1
The Creators’ App requires both radios active for pairing and remote control.
A1 Menu → Network → Smartphone Connect → Connection Settings
- Turn Bluetooth Function: ON
- Turn Wi‑Fi: ON
- Set Bluetooth Mode: Always ON for stable reconnection

Put the A1 into Pairing Mode
The camera must broadcast its pairing info before the app can detect it.
A1 Menu → Network → Smartphone Connect → Connect to Smartphone
- Choose Connect via Bluetooth
- The A1 will show a QR code and pairing prompt

Open Creators’ App on iPhone
The app handles both Bluetooth pairing and Wi‑Fi control.
- Launch Creators’ App
- Tap Add Camera
- Allow Bluetooth, Local Network, and Camera Access when prompted

Pair the A1 to the iPhone
Bluetooth establishes the persistent link; Wi‑Fi handles live view and control.
- Scan the QR code shown on the A1 OR select the A1 from the device list
- Confirm pairing on both the iPhone and the A1
- Wait for the app to show Camera Connected

Start Remote Shooting
Once paired, you can control exposure, focus, drive mode, and more.
Creators’ App → Camera → Remote Shooting
- View Live View from the A1
- Tap to AF or drag to move focus point
- Adjust Shutter / Aperture / ISO / EV
- Trigger Still or Video recording
- Change Drive Mode, White Balance, Picture Profile

Use Advanced Controls (A1‑specific)
The A1 exposes more parameters than lower Sony bodies.
- Toggle AF-C / AF-S
- Switch Subject Detection (Human / Animal / Bird)
- Adjust Continuous Shooting Speed
- Control Movie Format, S&Q, Shutter Type (Mechanical / Electronic)

Enable Auto Transfer (Optional)
Creators’ App can auto‑send images to your iPhone for quick sharing.
Creators’ App → Camera → Auto Transfer
- Enable Auto Upload for JPEG or HEIF
- Choose Transfer While Power OFF if desired
- Note: RAW files transfer only manually
Quick Tips for Best Stability
- Keep the A1’s Bluetooth Mode = Always ON — otherwise the app won’t reconnect reliably.
- For remote video shooting, the app switches to Wi‑Fi Direct, so stay within ~10–15 feet for stable preview.
- If the app fails to connect, delete the camera from the app and re‑pair — Sony’s Bluetooth cache occasionally sticks.
- Make sure your A1 firmware is v2.00+ (Creators’ App requires newer network modules).
