How to Turn Calls on Other Devices On and Off

“Calls on Other Devices” is an Apple feature that lets you answer and make cellular phone calls from your iPad, Mac, or Apple Vision Pro using your iPhone’s wireless plan. As long as your secondary devices are nearby, connected to Wi-Fi, and signed into the same Apple Account, they will ring simultaneously alongside your phone. This means you can comfortably pick up a call right from your computer or tablet without having to scramble for your phone in another room.

1.Open FaceTime:Step 1.

Launch the FaceTime app on your Mac (you can find it in your Applications folder or search for it using Spotlight with Cmd + Space).

2.Open Settings:Step 2.

Click on FaceTime in the menu bar at the very top-left of your screen, then select Settings… (or press the shortcut Cmd + ,).

3.Toggle Cellular Calls:Step 3.

Click on the General tab. Look for the checkbox labeled Calls from iPhone.

  • To turn it ON: Check the box.
  • To turn it OFF: Uncheck the box.

Note: For this to work when turning it on, both your Mac and iPhone must be signed into the same Apple Account, have Wi-Fi enabled, and be nearby each other.
