1. Open Sound Settings
- Press Windows + I to open Settings
- Go to System → Sound
2. Check Output (Speakers/Headphones)
- Under Output, select your preferred device from the dropdown
- Click Test to play a sound and confirm it’s working
3. Check Input (Microphone)
- Scroll down to Input
- Choose your microphone from the list
- Speak into it and watch the input level bar move to confirm it’s detecting sound
