Can’t connect two Fiber Converters via Cisco 3548 Switches

Situation: The client just pulled the fiber cables between two buildings. When they connected these two Cisco switches via Allied Telesyn MC13 Ethernet Media Converters, it doesn’t work.

Problem: the Converter is 10Base-F that doesn’t work with Cisco switch with 10/100 auto-sense.

Solution: They need to re-configure the Cisco switch to setup speed to 10.
