How to restrict access to a subfolder under a shared folder

Q: Is there a way to restrict access to certain folders in windows 2003 server?

i.e. I have a users folder that I wish to share, but only have certain users
access the sub folders? In that when the user clicks on the users folder
they will see folder abc, def, ghi, of which they will have access to the
first two and not to ghi.

A: Yes. Right-click on the folder you want to limit access. Select Security tab. Uncheck Allow inheritable permission from parent to propagate to this object.  Under "You are preventing any inheritable permission from parent to propagate to this object. What do you want to do?" screen, select Copy to copy inheritable permissions. Remove everyone and any groups or users you don’t want them access this folder while adding groups and users you want to have permissions to access the subfolder.
