 Download Offline Maps

Before your trip or when connected to Wi-Fi:

• Open Google Maps on your phone
• Enter the location, for example, Chicago Botanic Garden.
• Move to right until you see more…
• Tap More.
• Tap Download to download the offline map.
• Go back and Tap your profile icon (top right)
• Tap Offline maps that will show the offline map you downloaded.
• Tap the 3 dots in the offline downloaded map, you have options to update, View, Rename and Delete.

📌 Tip: You can download multiple regions (e.g., San Francisco + Yosemite) and rename them for easy reference.

• Open Google Maps (even in airplane mode)
