Can't access Windows share folder

Situation: The client has created a Share folder in windows 2003 server for Mac. But the Mac users can't see it.

Troubleshooting: We found the users was using AFP instead of SMB to access the Windows sharing. Note: SMB is the native sharing protocol for Microsoft Windows operating systems.

Net view command doesn't see the Mac share on Windows

Situation: Normally, you should be able to see the shared folders using net view command. However, it doesn't display Mac share created in Windows. To see Mac share in the Windows, go to Computer Mange> Share.
