Case collections of computer Rebooting Randomly

Computer rebooting randomly could be software or hardware issues. Here are some cases.

Case 1: The client’s computer started rebooting randomly about a week ago, maybe 3 - 4
times per day. If we run clean boot, the Windows runs normal. Finally, we find out he downloaded a new software one week ago. Removing the software fixes the problem. Please check this link for more details about clean boot: How to run Windows OS with a clean boot

Case 2: It could be virus or spyware. Run antivirus software to scan the computer.

Case 3: Even we run safe Mode, the computer still reboots by itself. It must hardware issue. Run hardware diagnostics software from Dell. It is RAM problem.

Case 4: Any failing hardware component in your computer could cause your computer to unexpectedly generate an error or reboot without warning. Check Device Manager for any errors or conflicts.

Case 5: Hardware devices that are not installed properly in the computer can also cause random reboots If you just installed a hardware device, you may want to re-do it.

Case 6: Power could be the issue too. Check the power supply or power cord. Here is another case. My $10 Dynex extension cord has all the stuff (printer, computer, monitor) plugged into. When I plugged in my laptop power cord into the spare outlet on the extension cord, my computer rebooted and my monitor turned off.

Case 7: It could be hardware driver. Please refer to these link:
