Change icon is grayed out in Windows 7

I have Microsoft Office 2003 running on Windows 7. After some updates, all my Microsoft Office icons disappear. I can’t restore the icons.
1. If I open the Properties of the Word, under Shortcut tab, the Change icon is grayed out.

2. If I open Advance, Run as administrator is grayed out.

3. I am login administrator and have tried to take over ownership.
4. I also followed this instruction: How to Change the file association in Windows 7 , but can’t change the icon.

How do you fix it?
