Can't install .NET 3.5 on Windows 8 with Error code: 0x800F0906 - Resolution with screenshots

Situation: When attempting to install .NET 3.5 in Windows 8, you may receive this message: Windows couldn't complete the requested changes and error code 0x800F0906.

Resolution: Run this command:

dism.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFX3 /Source:F:\sources\sxs

F is the DVD drive.
