Remote Desktop can't connect to the remote computer in Anywhere Access - Resolution with screenshots

Situation: When attempting to connect a computer using Anywhere Access, you may receive this message: Remote Desktop can't connect to the remote computer for one of these reasons:

1) Your user account is not authorized to access the RD Gateway.

2) Your computer is not authorized to access the RD Gateway.

3) You are using an incompatible authentication method (for example, the RD Gateway might be expecting a smart card but you provided a password).

Case 1: you need to add the user to RA_AllowComputerAccess group. To do it, navigate to domain name>MyBusiness>Users>SBSUsers in Active Directory Users and Computers.

Case 2: Make sure the Remote Desktop is enabled in remote computer.

Case 3: In our case, the remote desktop port was changed from 3389 to 3390. Changing the port back to use 3389 fixes the problem.

Case 4: Make sure you have RA_AllowComputerAccess in the Connection Authorization Policies.

Case 5: Case 4: Make sure you have RA_AllowComputerAccess in the Resource Authorization Policies.
