How to configure your wireless connection in Windows XP

  1. Click Start and right click on Connect To, click Open.
  2. Right-click the wireless connection and select Properties.
  3. On the General tab, click Properties.
  4. Click the Wireless Networks tab. Click Add.
  5. Type the information such as SSID, Network Authentication (e.g. WPA-PSK), Data encryption (e.g TKIP).
  6. Type either a 64-bit or 128-bit network key by using 10 or 26 hexadecimal digits (0-9,A-F), respectively.
