Can't set Extra Powered On to 0

Q:  After creating another VM and login, the Pano tries to create another other VM, but failed because of lower space (refer to this issue: Failure - 1 deployment pending in Pano DVM Collection). So I thought I may fix it by reducing the Extra Powered on to 0. After I changed to 0, click Update DVM collection and close. It still shows the failure – I deployment pending error. I can’t setup the Extra powered on to 0. It always comes back to 1. Any ideas?

A: You can typically set it to 0 and wait for it to commit in the database. However, I believe the reason why can’t set it to 0 now is because there is a process pending – which is the one that is trying to spin up that extra one and is giving you the error.

1)      Free up some free space (maybe delete the one that is in the custom folder)

2)      Let it spin up that 1 extra one

3)      Change it to 0 extra powered on

4)      Delete that 3rd VM in library

That is how I fixed the problem. Turn off two VMs. Then re-set extra powered on to 0. It works and no more error.
