Veeam SMTP server requires a secure connection - Resolution with screenshots

Situation: when setup email notification in Veeam, you may receive this message: The SMTP server requires a secure connection  or the client was not authenticated. The server response was: 5.7.57 SMTP; Client was not authenticated to send anonymous mail during MAIL FROM.

Troubleshooting: 1. Make sue you setupemail address and correct password under Advanced SMTP options.

2. Or you may want to check Connect using SSl under Advanced SMTP options.
