Situation: When attempting to access a VMware server from Veeam, you may receive these message:

Failed to login to vmware server by SOAP, port 443; Unable to connect to the remote server;

A socket operation was attempted to an unreachable network

Resolution: 1. Ensure you connect to correct server.

2. Ensure the port 443 is open.

3. Ensure you have correct root assword.
