Procedures of Troubleshooting Network Connectivity

1. Use the Ping tool to test your connectivity.

2. If you can't ping the remote computer by IP, check firewall and TCP/IP or ipconfig.

3. If you can ping the remote computer by IP but not name, check DNS/WINS.

4. If you can't access the Internet or WAN, use pathping and tracert to check the default gateway.
