System Error 53 - The network path was not found.

Access Denied

Situation: There are 5 windows 2003 servers in the LAN. The users can access all servers except one. which is web server.

Troubleshooting: 1. When double-click on the web server on My Network Places, you will receive Access denied.

2. net view or net use \\webserverIP, you will receive System Error 53. The network path was not found.

3. You can ping it.

4. Using net share command in the webserver  displays all share folders.

5. You can access the server using Remote Desktop.

6. Make sure no any firewall software running.

7. Finally, we find the server has a IP filtering to block all TCP except port 3389, 80 and 443.
