System Error 1314 – A required privilege is not held by the client

Symptom: Your have been using net time command to synchronize the win9x clients’ time 
with a server in the past years without any problems. After you upgrade these client to 
Windows 2000/XP or add new computers with windows 2000/XP, you may receive this message 
“System error 1314 has occurred. A required privilege is not held by the client” when using the net time command.
Cause: By default MS Windows NT/2KX/XP systems do not allow normal users to reset the system time.
Resolution: use the Windows Time service instead of net time command.
