The task completed with an exit code of (15)

NTBackup doesn't' run correctly

Symptom: The client created a scheduled task to run a batch file to reboot all servers automatically. The batch file he created has this line: shutdown /r /f. But that doesn't work on some servers with this log:

"reboot.job" (reboot.bat)
Finished 1/6/2006 9:00:01 PM
Result: The task completed with an exit code of (15).

Troubleshooting: Based on the Windows System Exit Code Description - 1 to 999, exit code 15 means "The system cannot find the drive specified". In other words, there is an incorrect parameter when execute the command line. It depends on the version of shutdown, the shutdown command for windows 2000 and 2003, should use - instead of /. So changing the command line to shutdown -r -f fixed the problem.
