However, the computer doesn't properly know the security identifier (SID) for the domain. Reestablish the trust relationship. A domain controller for your domain could not be located. You have been logged on using cached information. Changes to your profile since you last logged on may not be available. The session setup from the computer DOMAINMEMBER failed to authenticate. The name of the account referenced in the security database is DOMAINMEMBER$. The following error occurred: Access is denied. Event ID 3210 - Failed to authenticate with \\DOMAINDC, a Windows NT domain controller for domain DOMAIN. Event 5722 - The session setup from the computer %1 failed to authenticate. The following error occurred: %n%3 Cause: These error messages indicate the Windows workstation or server computer account information does not match that held by the authenticating domain controller. Solutions: 1. Reset the machine account by using the Active Directory. You can right-click the computer object in the Computers or appropriate container and then click Reset Account. 2.
