Can't start VM with Event ID 12010 and 12240

Chicago Area Laptop for rent: $35 per day plus $10 for additional day

Situation: the client is running Windows 2008 R2 Hyper-V. They can't start the VM with these event errors:

Case 2: The iSCSI Initiator lost SAN drive. Re-adding it fixes the problem.
