If you have a wireless adapter and receive "Media disconnected" error, check these:

1. Use ipconfig /renew to obtain a new IP.
2. Make sure the green/blue light is on and receives the signal.
3. Update the NIC driver.
4. Check the security settings
5. Try to assign a static IP.
