Hyper-V encountered an error trying to access an object on computer because the object was not found - Resolution with screenshots

Situation: when attempting to open VM in Windows 8 Hyper-V, you may receive this message: "Hyper-V encountered an error trying to access an object on computer because the object was not found" or "You do not have the required permission to complete this task".

Resolution: 1. Login an admin account to the Windows 8.

2. Right click on Hyper-V and select Run as Administrator.
