Where do the DPM spaces go - Resolution with screenshots

Situation: the client is running DPM 2012. They use all 8TB spaces of two disks so that they add another Drobo SAN with 16TB spaces and total are 24TB. However, when they try to add more data to backup, it shows there is not enough spaces.

However, the Disk Management is 100% free.

In DPM Disk Management, it shows none on Protected data source.

Troubleshooting:  After they added Drobo B1200i SAN to the DPM server, it add it as D drive automatically. DPM can only utilize blank disks so that

we have to remove that volume from the DPM by right clicking on it.

Delete the volume from Disk Management.

Then add it on DPM.
