SEP daily scan takes long time to complete - Resolution with screenshots

Situation: The client just installed Symantec Endpoint Protection 12. Some computers take one or longer to complete the daily scan.

Troubleshooting: By default, Administrator-Defined scans will run an Active Scan when new definitions arrive. Disabling the Run an Active Scan when new definitions arrive fixes the problem.
