VMware Operation timed out - Failed to install update

Situation: The client has a communication problem (see this port: VMware: Can't fork - Resource templorarily unavailble - http://chicagotech.net/netforums/viewto ... =9917#9917). When he tried to install the VMware Update, he received "Operation timed out - Failed to install update" message.

Troubleshooting: The Tasks & Events shows "Enter Maintenance Mode". The resolution is turn off all VM or move VM to another server. Enable Maintenance Mode. Install the Update. After finish the update, disable Maintenance Mode. This how to may help.
