Postby chicagotech » Thu Apr 09, 2009 4:06 pm

Situation: When trying to connect to VMware host from VMware Infrastructure Management, you receive the following error even you enter correct username and password: A general system error occurred: internal error.

Troubleshooting: 1. make sure you have good connect to the host.

2. If you just re-installed a new VIM or change the account username and password, you may need to reboot the ESX server.

3. Upgrade the latest firmware and drivers on the ESX server.
