Windows 2008 multi-homed DHCP server is not authorized

Postby guest » Wed Aug 06, 2008 10:12 pm

This issue occurs if Server Manager uses an incorrect IP address for the multi-homed DHCP server that is being authorized in Active Directory Domain Services. To resolve this issue, manually authorize the multi-homed DHCP server in the DHCP MMC snap-in. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Open the DHCP MMC snap-in. To do this, click Start, type DHCP in the Start Search box, and then click DHCP.
2. In the DHCP MMC snap-in, right-click the DHCP server name, and then click Authorize.
3. To exit the DHCP MMC snap-in, click Exit on the File menu.
