Can’t access Internet with error 12007

1. It could be the computer lost internet connection. Check the TCP/IP settings.

2. Reset winsock. In command prompt, type netsh winsock reset press enter, and reboot the computer.

3. Reset TCP/IP. In command prompt, type netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt and press Enter. Then reboot

4. If it is IE 7, it may be firewall/security issue. Check your firewall settings. It could also be because you need a security update from this location:
