Can I convert a Physical Computer Into a VM

Postby blin » Sun Oct 07, 2012 11:21 am

Yes, you can use Disk2vhd. Disk2vhd is free software and allows you to create a Virtual Hard Drive (VHD) of a physical machine even while the machine is up. This small utility doesn’t require installation and you can run it from a flash drive if you want. Just open up the Disk2vhd folder and run the executable.
You can create a VHD from physical computer running Winodws SO and will be running it on Microsoft Virtual PC, Virtual Server or Hyper-V.
