chinese input in Samsung Galaxy Tab

Postby guest » Fri Jul 06, 2012 4:22 pm

Just got my tab 10.1 but found that it has Chinese language display, Chinese voice input but no Chinese keyboard input. It does however have Korean keyboard input so it doesn't seem like a eastern language entering thing. My wife really needs Chinese text input. What can I do? I spoke with Samsung tech support but nothing so far. I don't want to have to return this but my guess is that Asus/Acer tabs will have Chinese input.

Any suggestions?

go to swype.com

They have a new keyboard out for use with honeycomb .. the Chinese language is included

Just go get one of those Chinese input apps on the market such as MultiLing Keyboard. That's the one I use. Not bad. However, I haven't been able to find one with handwriting input that works on Honeycomb.
