Wireless problem

Postby SaNjaK » Tue Mar 16, 2010 1:19 pm

Hi guys..
I am having huge problems and it's really starting to annoy me..

I have a Toshiba Satellite, with Windows Vista Home Premium.. I am not good with computers, so I'll do my best trying to explain the problem.
I used to connect to the wireless internet via modem.. There are 3 more computers in my house using the same.. But my lap top is the only one using Windows Vista.

Two days ago my internet worked perfectly, and then it just dissapeared. None computers in the house had access... My brother restarted the modem, and it worked just fine on his computer (Windows 7), and it works on other computers (Windows XP), but I couldn't connect.

At the beginning it said I was connected to it, but when I opened Opera or Mozilla it didn't work. Now I can't even connect at all, it just says there are problems and it asks me to repair the connection or connect to another connection. If I chose to repair it, none of the things work. IPv4 and IPv6 are disconnected.
I don't know what to do, I've tried everything.. I heard maybe I have to restart Windows, but I want to avoid those "big"steps if there is any other sollution to the problem.
P.S: connecting with the cable doesn't work either.

Thanks in advance :D

You may want to check if you have the latest NIC driver and router firmware. Also posting the result of ipconfig /all here may help.
