Fix syncing Gmail on Android issues

Case 1: Make sure your device is not in Airplane mode.

Case 2: Make sure Auto-sync is enabled

Press your device's < Home > button, then press < Menu >.
Select Settings.
Select Accounts & sync.
Make sure the checkbox for Auto-sync is checked.

Case 3: Make sure that your device can get online.

Case 4: Restart your device.

Case 5: Clear your device's Gmail application data. Please refer to this link:
