Outlook 2010 Calendar sync issue

One of our users is having problems with shared calendars.
When she creates an event in one of her shared calendars it shows up on her pc but not on the calendar's owner.

Her pc runs win xp with Office 2010, the calendar owner's pc runs win 7 with Office 2010.

We have tried creating the same event on the user's colleauge and this worked fine; I have just checked the permissions on the owner's calendar and the user was set to "publishing editor", have just changed it to "publishing owner" but this still does not work.

edit: We use a exchange 2003 server.

Romove the user from share list and then re-add her.

If it does not work, open Outlook in online mode if she uses chached mode.
