No English Thesaurus available in Word 2003

So my spelling won’t work and it is now telling me I have no English Thesaurus available…
Suggestions?

Open the Control Panel (in Windows) and choose Regional and Language
options, go through that dialog and make sure EVERYTHING is set to English
(US) especially the keyboard language.

Then from Start, go to All Programs, Microsoft Office, Office Tools, Office
Languages and make sure the English (US) is set as the Default and REMOVE
any other language from the right hand pane.

Now open Word and go to Review ribbon and select Set Language in the
Proofing group. In this dialog, make sure that English (US) is set as the
default and clear the checkbox to 'Detect language automatically'.
