Lost Apps and data after synchronizing with iTune:

Situation: The client tries to download some apsp from different iPad. He connects the iPad to iTune. When the popup asks for sync, he click Sync and then select only apps he wants and dis-select other apps. After the sync, he lost unchecked apps and data. Why?

Troubleshooting: He should check all apps instead of the apps he wants. If he unchecks other apps, those apps will be removed from the iPad.
