Iphone can't access Exchange with nothing to update

Situation: The user can't access the Exchange with "Exchange Account Unable to Verify account information". If he tries to re-enter the password, it says, nothing to update.

Troubleshooting: 1. the Active Directory keeps lock the user account.
2. Change the password doesn't help.
3. Finally, we found one of the user's laptop logon using the old password. We need to logoff the laptop and then re-logon using the new password.
