How to reset iPad

Q: My iPad has a problem. The apple logo would show up and then after a long while the little loading thing shows up and it just freezes. I had to hold the power button and home button together to get it to shut off but it just keeps doing the same thing. How can I reset it?

To reset iPad. Press and hold the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
