How to Create a test division in Fundware

To create a test division in Fundware, you need to copy the database form the production Fundware server by following this post:

using the Restore function
11 Open Division 00 System Administration > Division Maintenance. Allow the business date to default to today's date. If you are currently using FundWare version 7.12, 7.13, 7.14, 7.15, 7.16, 7.17, or 7.20, select Maintenance > System Management > Division Maintenance from the toolbar.
12 Click OK.
13 Highlight the division to be restored.
14 Click Restore.
15 A dialog appears listing the database backups available for restore.
16 Highlight the backup to be restored.
17 Check the Restore As check box.
18 The Division, Name, and Description text boxes are enabled, as well as the Lines Printed and Blank Pages check boxes.
19 Type the number, name, and description of the new division.
