What and How to setup Oracle service for Relius?

Postby chicagotech » Wed Apr 19, 2017 10:53 am

Q: What and How to setup Oracle service for Relius?

A:

The services that need to be set to automatic and running for a successful database server are as follows:
• OracleServiceRADB..................................... The actual database instance
• OracleOraDb11g_home1TNSListener.......... The service that allows outside programs and (more importantly) other devices to connect to the database

The following Oracle services that *do not* need to be running (and can be set to manual if you like) are as follows:
• OracleVssWriterRADB
• OracleJobSchedulerRADB
