ASA Access list: allow an outside host to access an inside

Postby guest » Tue Nov 25, 2014 4:55 pm

If you want to allow an outside host to access an inside host, you can apply an inbound access list on the outside interface. You need to specify the translated address of the inside host in the access list because that address is the address that can be used on the outside network. For example
chicagotechasa(config)# access-list OUTSIDE extended permit ip host 219.135.200.225 host 219.135.201.5

chicagotechasa(config)# access-group OUTSIDE in interface outside
