Configure Resource limits on Cisco ASA

Postby guest » Fri Nov 21, 2014 4:51 pm

By default, the default class provides unlimited access to resources for all contexts, except for the following limits, which are by default set to the maximum allowed per context:

•Telnet sessions—5 sessions.

•SSH sessions—5 sessions.

•IPSec sessions—5 sessions.

•MAC addresses—65,535 entries.

To set the default class limit for conns to 20 percent instead of unlimited, enter the following commands as example:

hostname(config)# class default

hostname(config-class)# limit-resource conns 20%
