Windows 2008 Server UNC Stored Credentials

Postby guest » Sat Jan 31, 2009 11:39 pm

a locally stored credential on a
2008 server results in failed access to the remote share folder. You need
to purge the stored credential.

On a Windows 2008 server, we can verify, add, remove, backup, and restore
stored user names and passwords for remote computers with these steps:
1. Open "Control Panel", then "User Accounts".

2. Click "Manage your network passwords".

3. In the "Stored User Names and Passwords" interface, remove or edit
expected entries.
