Microsoft Word Read-only

Q: I just re-built my laptop and mapped to a network. I used to be able to edit a word file and save it. Now, I can't. When I open the file, it shows Read-only.

A: Since this si a network or external drive, you are better to assign permissions to yourself with full rights.
