Can't access network because of security software

The problem was the customer had installed Norton IS 2006 over Norton IS
2004, which along with the malware infestation created all sorts of problems.

After removing both versions of the software everything went back to normal.


Try clean boot as below post.

My computer can't connect to the network. How do you troubleshooting it?
