VPN - MTU Value

Postby tobias » Fri May 25, 2012 12:30 pm

Hi.

I have some questions to do about MTU.

For VPN connections MTU test (ping -f -l) must be done with Internal VPN IP, external Internet IP or both?

It is internal or called private IP. For example, my VPN client may use public IP 100.1.1.1 and my private VPN IP is 192.168.1.1. You must test MTU using 192.168.1.1 IP.
