Troubleshooting Internet slow issues

1. First thing to try is check DNS settings.
1) Use nslookup to check any DNS errors.
2) It is recommand to use an internal DNS if you have domain network or your ISP DNS. One of my friends went to China and setup a local DNS serivce. When he came back to US, accessing the Intrenet is very slow.
3) If you use an internal DNS, make sure the Forwarders setup correctly. please refer to this post: Accessing Internet slow after installing windows 2008 - viewtopic.php?f=1&t=9330&p=14476#p14476

2. Scan any virus or spyware. Refer to this page for more details.
