Q & A: Reset TCP/IP router

Postby chicagotech » Mon Apr 02, 2007 5:17 pm

In a case that the TCP/IP is corrupted, you may want to use netsh to fix it.

Case 1: The client's laptop setup to use DHCP in the office and static IP at home. Sometimes, the route is corrupted and can't ping.

Resolution: netsh routing ip reset. Note: Vista doesn't use this command. You may try netsh interface reset all.
