disable Protected Mode for local intranet zone

Postby guest » Sat Oct 25, 2008 11:50 am

you would like to disable Protected Mode for local intranet zone via
group policy. However, it does not work after you disable the policy "Turn
on Protected Mode" under "Intranet Zone".

I have tested the group policy and found that it should be configured as
below:

1. Double click the policy "Turn on Protected Mode" under "Intranet Zone".
2. Select Enabled instead of Disabled.
3. Under "Protected Mode" dropdown menu, select Disabled.
4. Click OK.
